David Watson Sr. of Coleman passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Holiday Hills Nursing Home in Coleman, ,TX A Memorial Service in Honor of David, will be held at a later date.
David was born December 12, 1948 in Brownwood, TX to Mary Dobbins-Watson and Clem Watson. David received his primary education from Brownwood schools. After High School he worked for Brownwood Independent School District for 31 years. He also worked at Brownwood Muffler for 20 plus years. David loved to work on old trucks and cars. He also enjoyed working in the yard and watching Western Movies. David loved his family and was married to the love of his life Linda Joyce Watson for 44 years before she passed in 2015.
David was preceded in death by wife Linda Joyce Watson, parents Clem and Mary Watson, sisters Patsy Lowrey, Peggy Dobbins , and daughter Anjanette Watson.
Left to cherish his memories are: son David Wayne Watson Jr (Isabel) of Fort Worth, daughter; Rachel Watson (Billy Nelson) of Brownwood, brothers; Richard watson (Nita) of Coleman, TX, Douglas Watson (Vickie) of Coleman, Thomas Watson (Janna) of Coleman, TX, Sisters; Paula Wilson (Danny) of Powderly, TX, Kathy McGee (Corky) of Santa Anna, TX. 4 grandchildren; Emily Watson, Logan Watson, Tre Pabon, Payton Nelson, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
